Be the Lead Hydrogeologist within the ANZ region, leading and managing Aurecon’s capability and capacity of our Hydrogeological team Bring significant experience in Hydrogeology to Aurecon opportunities and projects. Maintain knowledge of guidelines, technical standards, legislation and codes of practice appropriate to Hydrogeology practice in Australia. Develop and promote technical excellence through research and presentation of papers. Assist with training and career development of emerging professionals in the Ground and Underground Engineering team. Ensure that all work undertaken is in accordance with appropriate professional and technical standards and practices while meeting Aurecon’s Methodology. The ideal candidate for this position will possess: A tertiary qualification in Civil or Environmental Engineering Proven track record in hydrogeological assessments for infrastructure projects (dams experience would be advantageous). Broad range of experience in planning hydrogeology field investigations Minimum of 10 years’ experience in the Hydrogeology discipline. Ability to work collaboratively across regions both internally within Aurecon and with our clients. Good knowledge of use of computers and technical software, including familiarity with Modflow Excellent written and oral communication skills.
