Candidate Specification

Required for the position of Contract Manager;You are likely to come from one of the following backgrounds:

  • i) Engineering (ideally civil) and moved into project / contract management
  • ii) Quantity Surveying (QS) or Law graduate then worked in commercial management

You need to be able to demonstrate the following:

  • Experience in contract and commercial management in civil engineering or transportation
  • Ideally experience of the Design & Build process
  • Strong ethical principles
  • Able to prioritise and work under pressure
  • Able to establish and maintain good working relationships with clients and colleagues
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills
  • Ability to identify and resolve key issues and blocks to progress or agreement
  • Proactive and self-motivated
  • Diligent and thorough with an excellent attention to detail.
  • Effective time management and able to demonstrate
    adding value to projects
